Peptide Handling and Storage Guidelines

To ensure stability, peptides require careful handling and storage:

-Lyophilized (powder) form:

Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat sources. A stable, shaded room temperature is generally suitable.

-Reconstitution:

When mixing peptides with bacteriostatic water, ensure the water is at room temperature. Avoid shaking the vial vigorously, gentle swirling is recommended to help the powder dissolve without damaging the peptide structure.

-After reconstitution:

Store peptides in the refrigerator. They should never be frozen, as this can compromise their integrity. Repeated heating and cooling cycles should also be avoided, as temperature fluctuations accelerate degradation.

-Shelf life:

There is no fixed expiration date once reconstituted, but peptides will gradually lose potency over time. As a general guideline, they are best used within 28-56 days depending on the fragility of the peptide in question.
