Description

Epitalon (also known as Epithalamin) is a synthetic tetrapeptide. It is reported to act as a telomerase activator, potentially promoting telomere elongation and delaying cellular senescence, thereby being studied for its potential anti-aging effects.

Research from the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology has shown that Epitalon may regulate melatonin production, improve circadian rhythms, and enhance the antioxidant defense system. In long-term animal studies, Epitalon increased lifespan and reduced age-related decline in mice and rats (Neuroendocrinology Letters, 2003). In human studies, including a multi-year clinical observation of elderly patients, Epitalon use was associated with a reduction in all-cause mortality and improvements in physical function and metabolic markers.
